We jump, stunt, tumble, dance, laugh, build friendships, and create a learning opportunity for many areas of growth and development.
Did you know that cheerleading is one of the fastest growing sports in the world?
Our club was even given the opportunity to help our love for cheerleading reach a new town in Cuba through a Good Will Tour!
Social Interaction & Mental Health
Cheer helps to develop social skills, step out of the normal friend group and socialize with people from other areas and schools, which leads to helping with social anxiety as well as shyness.
With interaction in this sport, it helps to build self-worth, self-esteem, self-confidence, self-awareness, responsibility, self-respect and self control. With a team of encouragement, support, confidence, trust, goals and sportsmanship, depression or bad days are sure quick to vanish when you walk into the gym!
